Once again Alpro Physio Team has conducted community service by visiting True Home Care Centre at Taman Inderapura, Kuantan.
True Home Care Centre has just started their operation past 2 months since February 2018 by Puan Norhafizah (Manager) occupied by 10 residents.
Since the manager was a physical therapy before, she was well aware on the needs and importance of physiotherapy service on geriatrics. She welcomed us with warm heart and was very pleased Alpro Physio Team has approached them.
Majority of the residents were suffering from stroke that needs physical therapy sessions quite often . Our physiotherapist began it with group activities that involves stretching and mobility exercise. They perform well on the exercise following the therapist. They were very co-operative and enjoyed themselves.
Other than performing activities, binding a healthy bond with them was among our target as well. They were easy to mingle with that made zero barrier for communication. However there is still lack of exercise awareness in our society that needs to be corrected for a better prosperity of life.
We look forward for more opportunities to share and create awareness among population of different ages and backgrounds in Kuantan.
